Small Business Coaching
Coaching has taken off in every corner of the globe.
There is Small Business Coaching, Executive Coaching, Life Coaching, Motivation Coaching, Career Coaching, Weight Management Coaching, Fitness Coaching, and the list goes on and on. A form of coaching for every possible niche in the market.
Don’t let specializations fool you. The training for all coaches, regardless of specialization, is pretty much the same.
So if you find a really good Business Coach, or a really good Motivation Coach, there is no reason why this coach couldn’t coach you on your relationships, weight management issues, life changes, career choices, etc, etc.
When a coach chooses a specialization he or she takes into account their background, qualifications, experience and personal interests. Any one or all of these could be the deciding factor, but you shouldn’t count on the existence of any of them. For example, just because someone calls themselves a ‘Career Coach’ doesn’t mean that they have a professional background or qualifications in Human Resource Management.
So, What Can a Small Business Coach Do for Your Business?
Small business coaching is proved to work when these two factors are present:
- The client is willing to grow,
and
There is a gap between where they are now and where they want to be.
That is all that is necessary for you and your coach to solve problems, turn a failing business around, increase sales and profitability, design and implement a plan of action, or create whatever else is called for to ensure that you have what you need or to get more of what you want.
Not just a sales pitch though, I am also trying to convince you that coaching has value to small business owners.
I am trained as a coach, I have post graduate qualifications in Accounting, Commerce and Business Management, and I have been a coaching client as well. So I understand both sides of the equation!
I know what a coach with knowledge and experience can do for you, and I know what coaching can do from the perspective of a client.
Do you want to make better, smarter decisions?
Could you do with some unbiased feedback on your business concept?
Could you use an established, tried and tested planning process to help you set reasonable goals?
Need a bit of support and encouragement while you work on those goals?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, small business coaching may provide some answers for you!
